Learn by explaining. You pick the material, it lays out the concepts as a path, and you work through them by writing each one in your own words.

It won an internal hackathon, and it was a full proof of concept rather than a demo. The AI that reads the answers really runs: it grades an open ended response, says what is missing from it, and gives it back so you can go again. There was a working image generation system in it too.

Screens

  1. Two columns. The task on the left asks how a plant turns sunlight into chemical energy, with three prompts under it and the student's own 178 word explanation typed below. On the right the grade reads 91 and Excellent, over a What worked list naming the vocabulary used, a What to strengthen list, and a Revise my explanation control.
The grading really runs. It names what worked before it names what is missing.
  2. The end of a path. A dial reads 63 as the average across three concepts, beside counts for explanations written, how many met the standard, and rewrites, the last flagged as where scores move. A panel below quotes one of the student's own sentences back and says that explanation is well written and never engages the concept.
Where the path ends, and it quotes your own sentence back at you.
