Record a class, get a live transcript and a summary. The coded prototype settled every edge case, so no Figma file went to the engineers.

Not my concept. The feature existed on the app and the company wanted it on the web, so I built the prototype for it. It was accepted as it stood and shipped.

The part worth saying is how it was handed over. Because the prototype was interactive and coded rather than drawn, every flow was solved in it and every edge case surfaced while it was being built. No Figma file was exchanged with the development team.

There is a working upgrade gate in it as well: one free recording, then the paywall. That was a try rather than a settled decision.

I no longer work on this project, so not everything it does now is mine.

  1. A recording in progress. A panel over the workspace holds Transcript, Notes and Auto detect tabs beside a live level meter and a clock running at thirty five seconds, with a project picker open under it listing five courses and a New Project option. The raw transcript runs unpunctuated along the bottom.

  2. The same recording once it has been processed. A left column lists what has been generated from it, a summary and a ten question quiz, above the sources it drew on. The right column carries an overview paragraph and four key points, each stamped with the timestamp in the recording it came from.
    Every key point carries the second of the recording it came from.
